At the moment, we do not have plans to create powdered versions of our supplements.
This is because Mighty Kids products are built around true liquid liposomal technology, which relies on water to keep the liposomes stable and effective. Our blog post The Fascinating World of Liposomal Supplements has more information if you're interested in finding out more about this leading innovation in vitamin absorption and encapsulation.
While powdered or capsule supplements may appear more convenient, the defining difference in our products is their high bioavailability achieved through liquid liposomal delivery, something current powder technology simply cannot replicate to the same standards.
Why we specialise in liquid liposomal supplements
Liposomal formulations are designed to protect nutrients inside tiny phospholipid bubbles (liposomes), helping them pass through the digestive system and into the bloodstream far more efficiently than standard supplements. For this structure to form and stay intact, water is essential. Without it, the liposome collapses. That’s why our liquid products show such high absorption rates compared to tablets, powders or standard liquids.
Independent studies comparing our liquid liposomal formulas with other products repeatedly show us that liquid liposomal delivery is the most bioavailable option. We have compared our liquid liposomal formulations with liposomal and non-liposomal formulations in liquid, powder, and tablet form, and found consistent results across the board. For more details and an explanation of how these studies work, take a look at our article: Liposomal Bioavailability Studies Explained.
Why powdered liposomal products aren’t as effective
Some brands add phospholipids to a dry formula and label it liposomal. However, ongoing research would suggest that there is no “true liposome” without water. The structure only forms once the nutrients are already dissolved in liquid.
Removing the liquid:
- Prevents proper encapsulation of the active ingredient
- Reduces the protection of nutrients during digestion
- Leaves absorption levels closer to standard powder supplements than true liposomal technology
Powdered products often claim to re-form liposomes once they are rehydrated, but this process is both inconsistent and scientifically unreliable. Because the liposome never existed before packaging, reconstituting it in a glass at home cannot guarantee the same structure, stability, or absorption. Mighty Kids Supplements uses Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) to ensure the liposomes in our products are of a consistent size, and always effectively able to encapsulate the vitamins and minerals in our supplements.
This is also why simply increasing the amount of a nutrient in a powder doesn’t solve the issue.
Beyond a certain dosage the body cannot absorb more. Absorption plateaus at high doses, and excess intake can trigger unpleasant digestive side effects such as nausea and diarrhoea. Take a look at our liposomal Vitamin C research for more information on this.
At the moment, liquid liposomes are the most effective delivery method supplements can offer.
But what if my child struggles to take liquid supplements?
We know not every child may be familiar with taking liquid supplements, and we understand that some may have strong taste or texture preferences. That’s okay! If this is the case, you might find the following recipes and dilution tips helpful, including a homemade gummy that ends up like a jelly sweet:

You may also be interested to know that our Vitamin C and Magnesium can be used topically, due to the microscopic size of our liposomes which allow nutrients to be absorbed through the skin. Many customers have seen tremendous results with transdermal absorption. For more information on topical use, take a look at these posts:

In summary
Right now, liquid liposomal supplements remain the most effective way to deliver nutrients with maximum absorption and minimal digestive discomfort, which is why we’re committed to that format. Powdered versions simply can’t offer the same stability or bioavailability; at least, not yet.
That said, we’re always monitoring new developments in supplement science. As industry leaders, if a powdered format ever becomes capable of matching our quality, safety and absorption standards, we’ll be the first to explore it, and the first to bring it to our amazing customers.
